Tour de Wedgie
Mike, Hans, and Eric's 1999 Big Bicycle Adventure
I would have little neat spirals down the side of MY page... but I am
Eric's little brother, and he won't let me have the graphic to do it.
So I guess I'll just set out and do my own rogue web site about
our little bike ride.....
SO HERE GOES!
DISCLAIMER: Best viewed in 1024x768 full screen mode!!! cause that is all I could get my machine to do with my cheap little brother tools. If it looks horrendous in any other resolution: 1. Change your resolution. 2. Buy a new computer. 3. Send me an email hans.bernhardt@erols.com but keep in mind that I work in computer support as a profession- so I will, per standard unwritten code of conduct, probably ignore you for a day or so in hopes that you will figure it out for yourself. Also, keep in mind that because we are biking 80 mile 9 -10 hour days and will most likely have the energy of all the dead woolly bears I ran over ... I may get a wee bit behind in keeping this site up to date.
BUT HAVE NO FEAR!! Believe me I have something GOOD in store for you .. so you BETTER KEEP UP with it all!
I figured out how to shrink the
pictures in size EVEN MORE! So they should be nicer on your modem.
Please email me and let me know
if it is good and how good it is...
REMEMBER TO CLICK ON THE UNDERLINED LINKS TO GET
PICTURES!!
No the above is not a link, just an example.
AND BE SURE TO USE THE BROWSER BACK BUTTON A LOT. I AM A WIMP AT THIS STUFF! PLEASE BEAR WITH ME!
If you have no clue what is going on or just dialed into this station, previous days links are below. It is highly recommended that you view these in chronological order or suffer a cyber lobotomy.
Monday October 4, HAPPY MONDAY!
Tuesday October 5, The History of Biking, Part 1
Wednesday and Thursday October 5,6, The Tire Marks Brothers Stop By
FINAL COUNT 43
Rules for the
woolly bear count. Woolly Bears must: 1. Be visible on
the road. 2. Feign being alive.
3. Curl up into little
ball when attacked by a rubber chicken. 4. Rules are negotiable and
will change on whim.
DAY 6 - Friday , October 8 -Mile Marker... THE LAST DAY!!!
AN
ATROCITY OCCURS!!...
Gee!
Who could have done such an atrocious thing such as kidnap Hans's bike?!?!?!
One wonders...
Well, fortunately it is brother Eric to the rescue. He brought a spare...
And Mike, Hans, and Eric labored for 10 more hours... 85 more grueling miles... and finally...
finished
Tour
de Wedgie
to
find the hallowed and glorious finish marker...
It
was later discovered that the rubber chicken absconded with Hans's bike
for a very good reason...

Congratulations Gentlemen!!! And to the rubber chicken... a new mother.
Stay tuned for tomorrow's final comments......
